Join Diane as she shares highlights of Christmas programs from the United States and around the world with scenes from snowy Austria to the arid desert of Israel. With special guest artists: Zamfir, Sung Sook Lee, soprano, The Canadian Brass, Wiltner Boy Choir, Innsbruck Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Gold Coast Symphony, Coral Ridge Concert Choir, The Joy of Music Chorale and The Joy of Music Instrumental Ensemble. Music and locations include: Excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church; “O Come All Ye Faithful” with The Canadian Brass; “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” from the Dom Zu St. Jakob, Innsbruck, Austria; from the Stiftskirche Wilten in Austria, the Wiltner Boy Choir sings “Gloria”; Sung Sook Lee sings John Rutter’s arr. of “O Holy Night” from Coral Ridge. The Ft. Lauderdale annual Christmas Boat Parade is seen in Florida and the 3000 Children March or Christkindle is seen while Zamfir plays and “Silent Night” is heard as the children march through the snowy streets of Nuremberg, Germany. Another highlight is the “Silent Night Chapel” where Diane tells the story of the carol and The Joy of Music Chorale is joined by Greg Kunde and Dean Peterson perform the beloved hymn.
